Kimball Parker attended Brigham Young University during the 70's and majored in art. During the past 40 years he has pursued art on a part-time basis but now is a full-time artist. As an avid fly fisherman he was never satisfied with the conventional methods of taxidermy that required killing the fish to produce a "skin mount," or creating a replication of the fish with a "one size fits all" fiberglass form. For the past several years he has pursued recreating fish in wood sculpture. Now a fish of a lifetime can be preserved in a unique one-of-a-kind work of art. Take pictures and measurements of that special fish, and release the trophy back into the wild. Kimball will recreate it for your lasting enjoyment.
Kimball has now added children's books to his offerings to the public. With his four daughters grown and married, and having children of their own, he now wants to share "moral messages," with his fourteen grandchildren. All responsible parents and grand parents want to share teaching moments with their children and grand children. Cartoon formats and poetic verse make sharing these messages fun for kids and adults alike. The first book called "in-between," will be available in February of 2021. Cost for fish sculpture and delivery expenses
It is easy to calculate the cost of your unique work of art. Simply measure the length of the fish and multiply by $50 per lineal inch. If you have a fish that is 18 inches long the cost would be $900.00. Shipping is FREE within the continental USA. A deposit of 1/2 is required to start the work with the balance due prior to delivery. Plan on 90 to 120 days for completion of your work.
